Introduction To The President

Hong Xu

Hong Xu is an internationally renowned artist and a graduate of the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. He currently serves as President of the International Cultural and Arts Exchange Association and Dean of the School of Arts at Shengci College. He is also a Distinguished International Artist with the Rancho Cucamonga Chinese Association and Chairman of Zhengzhou Bozhiyi Culture and Media Co., Ltd. In addition, Xu is a Senior Art Therapy Mentor with the International Art Therapy Association, a member of the Japan-China Ink Painting Association, an international artist recognized in both Japan and China, a member of the Western States Art Federation, as well as a member of the Sichuan Artists Association, the Henan Women’s Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute, and the Zhengzhou Artists Association.

Over The Years

Hong Xu has dedicated himself to fostering cultural and artistic exchange between China and the world. In 2019, she was invited to participate in high-level artistic exchange programs at the Rome Academy of Fine Arts, the Florence Academy of Fine Arts in Italy, and the Paris Academy of Fine Arts in France, where she received widespread acclaim.

Academically accomplished, Xu published a research paper in 2023 titled “A Study on the Use of Color and Expression Techniques in Dunhuang Murals” in the journal Wisdom of the East, which was indexed by Longyuan Database. That same year, her paper-based mural painting Dunhuang Flying Apsaras was collected by Master Zhirong, President of the Buddhist Association of New York, USA. This achievement was reported by media such as Qilu Evening News and China.com.

In 2024

Her Dunhuang-themed works Dunhuang Flying Apsaras and Bodhisattva were both selected for the Contemporary Art Exhibition at the Louvre in France, drawing significant international attention. His academic paper “A Cross-Cultural Analysis of the Impact of Art Education on Youth Creative Thinking” was again published in Wisdom of the East, and his oil paintings Initial State and The Universe and All Things were featured in Fine Art Literature, with entries archived by Longyuan, CNKI, VIP, and Wanfang databases.

In April 2024, Xu was invited to serve as Jury Chair for the United Hope Foundation Charity Night & International Art Exhibition in the United States, where he took an official photo with the Mayor of Irvine. Media coverage of the event included Yangtze Evening News, Tencent News, Baidu News, Ziniu News, and Dazhong News. In November of the same year, he was honored with the Excellence Award at the Yokohama International Artist Exhibition and the 20th Japan-China Ink Painting Association Exhibition, with reports featured in Entrepreneur Daily, Sohu, China.com, Dazhong News, and others.

In May 2025,

At the “Art Unleashed” art expo held in Los Angeles County, she was awarded dual first prizes for her acrylic painting Still Life – Saxophone and her pencil drawing Still Life Composition, recognized for outstanding creativity and exquisite technique. Her achievements were exclusively featured by China Business News, garnering wide acclaim and attention from the art community.
